We work on the latest Apple iMac 5k Retinas using the Adobe Creative Suite of design programs, which include:
Illustrator is very versatile as you can use it for making anything from business cards to billboards. Because it’s a vector-based graphics application, things aren’t dependent on pixels. So you can blow things up really big, or make things super small and the artwork maintains it’s crispness. The file sizes are also very small, so it makes it easy to send artwork electronically.
Can I have it in Word?
Clients often ask for artwork in Microsoft Word, however this is a word processing document and doesn’t have the versatility that the professional design programs have for creating business cards, brochures etc. However simple Word documents such as A4 covers, letterheads, plus PowerPoint templates can be created and supplied for client’s use.
